Popped into the New China, Asian restaurant in Kennington for a quick take away. I was very pleased to be able to buy a mixed pack here. I had fried rice and beef and black bean. The meal really hit the spot. The welcoming service we received was friendly and with a smile. One of the best things about the restaurant is the convenient parking available right outside. If you are after a quick tasty Asian meal I’d recommend you consider New China Kennington.

Ordered the battered sweet and sour chicken and it was delicious. Fast delivery, and the chicken came separated from the sweet and sour sauce, which meant that I could add as much sauce as I wanted to the dish. Loved that.

Standard Aussie-Chinese fare. They did have some more trad looking dishes on their menu though. Clean and neat shop with polite staff. Food is good without being great but to be fair we ordered pretty plain stuff, will update next time we visit. Small bottle shop nearby too is a bonus
